What was missing? How can you better engage your congregation with your playing? Come explore an introduction into an approach to make your music come alive meaningfully.

Dr. Christina Hargis is the organist at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church in Austin, Texas, and has been an organist and church musician since the age of 16. As an American Guild of Organists Regional Competition winner and featured AGO Convention recitalist, Dr. Hargis has performed across the nation. She received her
Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Organ Performance in 2008 from Arizona State University where she studied with Dr. Kimberly Marshall. As a church musician, Dr. Hargis published her dissertation on the Te Deum and dedicates her art to the pursuit of serving God through music and worship. She and her husband Lance have two cats and three grandchildren.

Meet us in St. Louis for the 2026 National Convention!
